Its a pretty impressive little mod, I may install it for my next playthrough and just put up a few buildings here and there just for a little more variety in my settlements (especially the farm plots, the leveled up ones look pretty nice). He also shows some of the differences between rank 1 and rank 2 and 3 buildings and rank 1 and 2 (or possibly rank 3) farming plots. He shows the plots being built up and everything too (sped up of course) so you can see what the buildings look like as they're being built. In it he builds up Sunshine Tidings pretty heavily, its not wall to wall but you can see what a decent sized settlement with a dozen+ houses and one of each shop looks like. Oxhorn did a pretty thorough video on it.

If you have an entire settlement made with this mod post some screen shots or video links. Has any player made a large dense settlement with Sim mod? I can build up my preferred locations in the vanilla fashion, and use Sim Settlements in the others, rather than just leaving them entirely bare - or at least that's how I envisage me using it, eventually. Sim Settlements again fills the gap here. Then there's the factor that after a few different characters, sometimes I just really can't be bothered building up the same settlements I've already done (and often redone) several times already. Sim Settlements kinda fills the gap between pre-made towns, and fully-player made towns, as I see it.

Yeah, been through all that too, and there's still a place for that. Like parents having no more time to cook do the kids have no time to build something of their own. To me is this Sim Settlement mod the 'fast food'-version of settlement building. I've made my fingers bleed with the user interface, I've suffered piles of rubble, unscrappable trees and cars, and still did I fulfil my ideas, and not that of somebody else. So, it's a little more involved than dropping down a plot, and walking away. It's actually been rather cool to watch the town grow gradually from empty blocks, into (presently) half-finished buildings and am eager, eventually, to see a fully functional town.ДЄdditionally to this, each building is supposed to have it's own little 'story' with dynamic clutter, which varies from visit-to-visit, so things are not always the same, giving each building an actual 'lived in' feeling. Left them alone and have stopped back a couple times over the next few in-game days and have mused at the half-completed buildings. Already had an established settlement with some 30+ settlers, so I scrapped everything (was really early, and rather terrible effort at construction), relocated half to other settlements and started a town with 15 settlers - which took up most of the available space around the pond in the middle. I've started messing around with it at Starlight Drive In. There is still some player involvement, especially on the more advanced settings which require the player to maintain the town.ДЄs the mod title implies, you're basically the mayor, and lay out the town, whilst the settlers take care of themselves, and you sit back and oversee the town's development, ensuring it has everything it needs - essentially, SimCity if you've ever played it. That's the thing, it's not entirely self-driven by NPC's. I might as well buy me an aquarium the next time. All it then needs is a mod, which does the quests for you, too, and you've turned Fallout 4 into the most ludicrous screen saver ever. I like building stuff myself, so this mod is the most boring one I could think of - having NPCs doing it for me is ridiculous.
